❁♡ On Overcoming Anxiety & OCD ♡❁

· For whomever needs to read this::: Self-Love is so important. Try not to beat yourself over what you're going through (I know that it can be complicated, but we have to find other ways to cope and try to stop the O/C hamster wheel / cycle from going and going and going that AREN'T giving into the O/C urges to try to instantly stop the anxiety). Your feelings and struggles are valid. Love is a choice, not just a feeling. Choose to love yourself, too. Don't try to push the anxiety away or feed into the compulsion to get away from the anxiety as quickly as possible. Stop, take deep breaths, the anxiety is valid (not that what it is telling you or is telling you to do is what's right, but that the feeling is valid), you are alive, you are here, this anxiety isn't going to take away all of your control, you can get through this, the power is yours, it's inside of you, you don't need to figure it all out right now or make things happen right now, self-soothe, self-reassure in HEALTHY ways (instead of in O/C ways), you are the common denominator, you can heal and grow, don't try to change the external world to fix the anxiety, make progress with your internal world to heal your anxiety, you are not alone, you can do this. Love yourself. Love is a choice, not just a feeling. So choose to love yourself. 🌱🌺✨

Reality is subjective, and not everything is black and white - even objectivity has some subjectivity to it. That's why it's so important to heal what's going on within ourselves instead of just trying to force the external world to change - heal your internal world, and you will see it reflected in the external world. ^~^ You have the power within you! . * . * .* .
