S1E4: "Fright Night"
Carrie has a hard time avoiding Sebastian at school. She goes with Walt to LaRissa's party, and they both meet a guy (who turns out to be gay & kisses Walt). Maggie and Mouse go to Sebastian's party; Mouse doesn't want to at first, but Mags wants to have fun, she uses the excuse: "We can get back at him by drinking all his booze!" Mouse starts playing a game & Sebastian comes along and challenges them, and they start talking and smoking a joint, until a cop walks in (the guy Maggie's getting involved with behind Walt's back). After the kiss, Walt totally freaks out & shouts that's he's not gay & he's not a "f*g". He runs away, and he finds some guys about to beat up some gay guys & he saves them. The guy told Carrie, who had to help (more like take care of) LaRissa who had gotten so high that she almost jumped off a building. Doret gives her dad an especially hard time during Halloween (an occult holiday), including eating all the candy and practically telling him to shut up while watching "Poltergeist". He feels defeated, not being able to get through to her. But later, she can't sleep, because she's scared, so she asks if they can hang out, and later you see that she fell asleep with her head in her dad's lap (aww)! Maggie tries to "seduce" the cop, but he refuses her, because her father is the chief and "no one can find out" about them. Ugh! disgusting. Mouse starts really enjoying hanging with Sebastian. NO! Carrie goes home and finds Sebastian with Mouse at her house; she was so stoned that he just couldn't take her to her parent's house, so she ends up staying the night. Walt goes to see Maggie, and he ends up kissing her and "making love" to her. Carrie is officially cool with Sebastian again, and Mouse can't shut up about inappropriate things. (Ugh!) Carrie realizes during this episode, that even though she wanted the city life to feel free and not have to take care of anyone, she still had to; look at LaRissa. She had to take care of her while she's stoned out of her wits. LaRissa reveals that it's a lonely life, the city/party life. They talk about the quote "Each man is an island"; and LaRissa says she doesn't want to be an island anymore, it's too lonely and tiring having to keep up with the other "islands". She just wanted to be a bird and fly away.
S1E5: "Dangerous Territory":
Carries meets a guy, George Silver (who looks like Sam from Supernatural, by the way), at her internship. He mentions that they knew each other when they were kids. He asks her to his mom's New Year's party, but she says no; when she tells her friends, they tell her she's crazy for turning him down! She says she's too busy (as an excuse), but they knew (We ALL knew!) that it was really Sebastian. Maggie talks about how Walt "can't get enough sex with her" (TMI!). Mouse & Seth plan a get-together. Carrie takes her driving test. She sees Sebastian and le biatch (Donna) making out & almost crashes. Le biatch accuses Carrie of trying to "run then over". Sebastian says he didn't want Carrie to find out like this, but she said it was totally cool because she's "seeing" George. Tom Bradshaw's wedding ring is stolen. Carrie accepts the invite from George. Barbara helps Carrie find a "Sapphire" dress, and tells her about the whole dress & party code for "Kick Silver" (George's mom). She's known George since he was 4. Barbara actually appears to like Carrie; she was surprised that Carrie was actually a hard worker. George's ex-girlfriend, Blithe (le biatch #2) shows up. She tries to put Carrie on blast, but it doesn't work. They think it's stupid at first that she's learning to drive a car, but George thought it was fascinating and asked her to teach him sometime. Mouse tries to learn how to have "great sex" to impress Seth, and asks Walt for advice, he shows her a video. Mr. Bradshaw almost hits a girl and then drives her home. (Stupid) Donna tries to steal the diner as a hangout spot from Carrie & the girls. Mags keeps trying to get it back, by using all kinds of tricks. Mouse finds out that Seth had sex with 2 different people while they were broken up. Sebastian walks in on Maggie and Donna arguing about the diner. He gets Donna to give up the diner. Mouse lets Seth think that she slept with someone else, because he assumed it, and he's overcome with jealousy & forced a name out of her, and she names Walt, because technically he DID teach her all that. Kick Silver realizes who Carrie is, Grace Bradshaw's daughter, and they talk about her mom. Mrs. Silver totally realizes that she misjudged Carrie. Seth and Mouse run into Walt and Maggie.. Seth almost beats Walt up, until Mouse clears up the misunderstandings, and admit that she watched a how-to tape with Walt, who thinks Maggie would think he was a loser if she found out, but she thought it was sweet that he wanted to impress her. Mouse tells Seth that she's not cool with the double standard of: if he sleeps with a ton of girls, to him, that makes him "cool", but if she does the same thing, that makes her a "slut". (Either way is wrong. These people clearly just don't care about the concept of waiting for marriage.) They work it out, and everything ends "well".
