Middle-Ground Veganism /// logically ethical veganism VS extreme
puritanical veganism VS extreme hypoliticritical "wannabeganism"
(extreme hypocritical/political "veganism")

I want this article to start off with a very specific verse from the Bible to set the tone:

2. Now on the one hand, one believes he may eat all things that are lawful; but on the other hand, another one, who is weak, eats only vegetables.

3. The one who eats meat should not despise the one who does not eat it. And the one who does not eat meat should not condemn the one who eats it, for God has received him. (see explanation)

4. Who are you to be judging another man’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he shall be made to stand because God is able to make him stand.

(A Faithful Version)

Romans 14:2-4 (A Faithful Version).

(note: this doesn't mean that the one who eats only vegetables is physically weak,
it's supposed to mean weak of conscience, having a sensitive conscience.)

veganism in a basic sense is about abstaining from cruelty and promoting welfare; the main focus is on animal welfare, but this compassion should extend not only to animals, but to other innocent living beings as well (pre-born babies for one). abortion is not cruelty-free. hypoliticriticals care more about "rebelling against the establishment" than they care about morality and ethics.

29. And God said, “Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree upon which is the fruit of a tree bearing seed—to you they shall be for food. 30. And to every animal of the earth and to every fowl of heaven and to all the living creatures that crawl upon the earth, every green plant is given for food.” And it was so.

— Genesis 1:29-30 (A Faithful Version).

as we can see, animals clearly weren't created to be "food" as so many mainstream Christians claim (I am a person of faith, myself, I am not talking against Christianity, only ignorant mainstream Christians who like to spout off about God "creating animals for food, so therefore we can just do whatever we want" but don't even believe in keeping God's commandments (like Sabbath-keeping).

a lot of vegan people believe that in the end, things will return to veganism, and I personally believe that it would either be veganism or vegetarianism (not including eggs, I personally don't consider eggs to be vegetarian, and I find it really strange and maybe a bit tone-deaf that most people do?),
