Flirting Outside Of your Relationship Is NOT Okay, But Not All Outside Interactions Equal Flirting.
No, flirting outside of your relationship is NOT okay. I'm so sick of reading these immoral articles that are trying to promote emotional affairs as "healthy" & as if they could "re-kindle" the spark in a comfortable relationship. Maybe some people think that it's okay, but that's their problem. Having a conversation with someone isn't necessarily flirting, innocent compliments aren't necessarily flirting (still be careful about the subject matter of that, though, I guess), but learn to differentiate between what is and what isn't flirting. Why don't these articles just stop calling it "flirting"? Interacting isn't always flirting. Interacting with people of the opposite gender isn't necessarily such a crime, but just keep it appropriate and respectful to your relationship. Purposely going around and hitting on / trying to pick up other people that aren't your significant other ... that's "healthy" to these people? No. That's flirting / encouraging cheating, and that's NOT okay. Monogamy. Have some. *Mic Drop.* ~ Matthew 19. ~
